GULFOOD MANUFACTURING

A spin-off of DWTC’s hugely-successful Gulfood event, the world’s largest annual food and hospitality show, Gulfood Manufacturing is primed to become the Middle East’s biggest-ever trade show launch when it debuts from 9-11 November, 2014.
 
With more than 90% of the 42,000m² show already sold, Gulfood Manufacturing will debut amid wholesale growth in the region’s processing, packaging and manufacturing sectors. According to Alpen Capital’s GCC Food Industry Report (May, 2013), UAE investment in procuring food processing and packaging machinery exceeded AED1 billion for the first time in 2012, after reaching AED922 million (US$ 258.4 million) in 2011. Coupled with increasing food consumption rates, Gulfood Manufacturing is top of the agenda for local, regional and international industry players looking to expand across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA).
Aimed at becoming a dedicated platform for service providers and cold chain technology companies to access the rapidly growing regional sector, Gulfood Manufacturing will comprise a cache of segmented, niche shows, conferences and technical workshops, including Ingredients Middle East, ProPack Middle East, Logistics Middle East and the Food Logistics Summit, as well as Dubai Municipality’s highly-regarded International Food Safety Conference.
 
With leading international producers of high-tech products from Germany, Italy, Austria, France, the USA, the UK, China and Taiwan already committed to Gulfood Manufacturing, two of Europe’s powerhouse food processing and packaging machinery associations have stamped seals of approval on the new show.
